Zeeland Refinery opslagtanks Nieuwdorp
De raffinaderij maakt van ruwe aardolie brandstoffen en grondstoffen. De petrochemische installaties worden onderhouden en op veiligheid gecontroleerd. De ruwe olie wordt via een 138 kilometer lange, ondergrondse pijpleiding naar het bedrijf getransporteerd vanaf de Maasvlakte Olie Terminal. In een geavanceerd raffinageproces wordt uit de ruwe aardolie, de brandstoffen LPG, benzine, kerosine, diesel en stookolie gehaald. De producten worden opgeslagen in tanks en worden via de Cittershaven verder verscheept. Foto John Gundlach.
